Master’s Degree in Gerontology

Our experienced faculty have crafted the Master of Science in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Gerontology with you in mind. Presented in an entirely online and asynchronous format, this 30-credit program provides foundational knowledge of the field of gerontology, including the biological, psychological and sociological aspects of aging. 

This program allows you to apply your new skills in real-time in your current role or include them on your resume as you explore more advanced roles in the industry. With a master’s degree in gerontology, the gerontological world is your oyster. 

Master’s Degree in Medical Physiology and Aging

This one-of-a-kind master’s degree brings together the key concepts of medical physiology and gerontology. 

Unlike the master’s degree in gerontology, this graduate degree program also focuses on medical physiology and provides practical knowledge for a variety of careers in the medical field, including preparing you for the MCAT and other national examinations. 

Whether you’ve recently completed your bachelor’s degree and are furthering your education with a master’s degree or you’re a current professional in the field of aging looking to expand your horizons in medicine, this 30-credit program is offered entirely online, so you can continue your current role as you complete your courses in as little as one year. 

Graduate Certificate in Aging and Geriatric Practice

Not sure you’re ready to commit to the graduate degree in gerontology? That’s okay! This graduate certificate can be completed in as little as one year and offers the foundational knowledge required for a career in geriatric medicine. After earning this certificate, you’ll be prepared for other health-profession schools and gain the skillset needed for a career as a geriatrician. 

If you do decide you’d like to pursue your MS in gerontology, you can apply all 15 graduate certificate credits towards the graduate degree, as long as you’re accepted into the program and are in good academic standing.
